    Here’s an opportunity to work for the US Air Force’s most storied and advanced Distributed Training operation. Winner of numerous US Air Force and US Department of Defense training awards over the last 18 years, the Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) Center (DMOC) at Kirtland AFB, NM is the Air Force’s primary hub for distributed combat training exercises, testing and experimentation. Through the DMOC, warfighters at locations around the globe face realistic environments to practice tactics and procedures in highly-realistic training environments. The DMOC architecture integrates synthetic (virtual and/or constructive) simulations across various networks to support a battlespace that accurately models adversary and friendly weapons and weapons systems, focusing on Command, Control, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance systems. Integrating live, virtual and constructive (LVC) elements, the DMOC is a major contributor to the US Air Force’s Operational Training Infrastructure (OTI). The DMOC paves the way to bridge the gap for fifth generation training in air, space, and cyber domains.     We are looking for innovative and forward-thinking Event Coordinators to help us create state-of-the-art training venues. The DMOC is on the verge of moving the Air Force to the next level of advanced distributed training, and the skills we’re searching for may include:

    • Ability to coordinate effective technical support and systems for complex training environments
    • Understanding of multi-national, joint, multi-domain and Air Force training standards and requirements
    • DMO experience above the wing level
    • Technical knowledge that supports the real-time resolution of complex battlespace problems

    Develops, organizes, and conducts technical solutions supporting training events.

    1. Coordinates the development and delivery of complex training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives.
    2. Supports establishment, and review, of training event content and objectives.
    3. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
    4. Maintains records of training activities, technical challenges, and program effectiveness.
    5. Updates documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.
    6. Provides work leadership to lower level employees, including evaluating the effectiveness of their training coordination and problem-solving, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
    7. May serve as technical team or task lead.
    8. Conducts research into new training and multimedia technologies.
    9. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
    10. Participates in special projects as required.
    11. Perform analysis of resources and networks to meet exercise requirements.
    12. Evaluates exercise progress and directs resources to correct problems or deficiencies, meeting changing requirements in a real-time environment.
    13. Plan integration of internal and external training systems and environments.
    14. Evaluates success of training event and provides lessons learned from area of responsibility.

    Education

    Bachelors Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work/military experience.

    Qualifications

    8-10 years of directly related experience in the development and delivery of technical training programs.

     
    *TS/SCI Clearance required.
     

    Additional skillsets

    LVC/DMO experience highly desired.

    *TS/SCI Clearance required.

    Microsoft Suite proficiency. 
    Microsoft Project experience

    Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment.

    Ability to re-prioritize, based on customer requirements.
