Job Description

Plans, coordinates, and conducts training and related instructional programs for customer personnel.

 

 

 

1. Conducts training sessions and assists in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.

 

2. Coordinates logistics for instruction events, including scheduling classes, reserving classrooms, and preparing workstations.

 

3. Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.

 

4. May participate in the development and establishment of course content and objectives.

 

5. Updates course documentation as needed to ensure timeliness and relevance.

 

6. Provides guidance and work leadership to less experienced instructors.

 

7. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

 

8. Participates in special projects as required.

Education

Education: Associates Degree in related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience and/or be a graduate of the ANCOC.

 

Training: Must be a former Wheeled Vehicle Repairer NCO having graduated from 91B AIT. A DLPT rating of 2/2 or higher in Arabic is desired.

Qualifications

  • It is desired that each instructor will be qualified at the 3 skill level.
  • 10 years’ experience as a Vehicular Repairer/Supervisor at the Direct and General levels (-20/-30) of Support; must have served in that capacity within the last three years.
  • Must have deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom within the past five years and have trained partner-nation forces.
  • Must possess current US Passport.
 
 
PLEASE NOTE:
  • This position requires assignment or deployment to international location(s).
  • This position will deploy with U.S. Forces, and therefore is subject to Deployed Contractor training and regulations, and USCENTCOM Individual Protection and individual / Unit Deployment Policy. Successful candidates will be subject to initial and recurring physical examinations and medical testing, and meet fitness for duty requirements in accordance with the CENTCOM Policy and related modifications and regulations.   
  • The successful candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a work and/or residence visa in the country of performance including ability to obtain medical certificate and/or police report clearance in accordance with host country regulations.
  • The successful candidate must complete review of personal details and center of vital interests to be eligible for, obtain and maintain, Status of Forces accreditation with the host country and the U.S.  Government.
