Job Description

  • Demonstrated experience testing web-based applications, including enterprise-level complex web-based systems
  • Proactive in creating test documentation to include test plans, test scripts, test cases, and RVTMs
  • Proficient in troubleshooting issues prior to handing the issue to the development team
  • Understanding of browser variations, HTTP error codes, and GUI layout strategies
  • Adept in regression testing, and smoke testing
  • Comfortable receiving a simple user story or requirement and taking the initiative to expand and define the requirement until there is sufficient acceptance criteria
  • Ability to write and maintain automated tests using tools such as Selenium Webdriver

Experience using Firebug

  • Experience creating and managing performance and load testing efforts
  • Ability to use SQL to query for DB records 

Reviews and evaluates software products and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards. Develops software/systems testing procedures and conducts tests.

  1. Defines, develops and implements software/systems testing standards and procedures, and oversees testing. 
  1. Documents and analyzes test results, and makes recommendations to improve overall quality. 
  1. Oversees testing of purchased third-party software and/or services to ensure that company standards and end-user requirements are met. 
  1. Acts as Subject Matter Expert conducting complex software/systems testing. 
  1. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced Quality Assurance personnel, and may have supervisory responsibilities.




Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.


10-15 years of related web-based application quality assurance experience testing
