Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
5-8 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
The candidate should have at least 5 years day to day System Administration experience and troubleshooting with Windows 2008, 2008R2 or 2012R2 servers that includes Printer/Print Management, NTFS permission troubleshooting and some DHCP. Distributed File System (DFS) , Distributed File System Replication (DFSR) , SQL, and IIS experience or understanding is desirable.
Highly motivated self-starter who needs little guidance. Being a senior position, the candidate will assist junior system administrators in these areas.
Must possess appropriate current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment; either CompTIA Security+ CE OR CCNA-Security. CompTIA Security+ CE is the preferred certification. In addition must attain the required DoD 8570 Computing Environment (CE) Certification prior to Hire Date.
Because of the sensitive nature of the work being done for this government client; all candidates must hold a TS/SCI Poly.
