This Surge Team Service Network Administrator position is a full time opportunity for candidates who are looking for a challenging, fast-paced environment. We are looking for experienced Service Desk Specialists who want to work with the latest technologies as part of a traveling team supporting unique customer needs.
This position requires 80% plus travel to support worldwide missions. Travel can range from one week to six months.
Candidate is responsible for assisting in the design and development of voice, video, and data communications networks. They must be experienced in CISCO switching, Desktop VTC, and Voice over IP (VoIP). Experience in CISCO Unified Computing Systems and CISCO Unified Call Manager is a plus.
Candidate shall perform administration duties for networking hardware including routers, switches, hubs, gateways, access points, network interface cards, networking cables, network bridges, modems, ISDN adapters, firewalls and other related network hardware. Candidate must have firm grasp and knowledge of fiber and copper-based Ethernet technologies, capabilities and cabling and their connectivity to local and wide area networks
Additional Responsibilities May Include:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
A minimum of 4 years of directly related experience in network administration and support. #SURGETEAM
