Position: Sr Analyst, Quality – Quality Assurance Manager/Specialist (L3)

Location:  Fort Gordon, GA                                                                                                                                 

 

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

 

GDIT is seeking candidates to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). Under the I2TS 3 task order, INSCOM ensures reliable, uninterrupted availability of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) including: networks, hardware, software, engineering, and specialized tools at the point of customer need to support INSCOM's mission. INSCOM and its MSCs provide the enabling layer to connect the Army and its tactical formations to defense and national intelligence agencies via tactical networks. The ability to provide mission critical intelligence is dependent on the successful use of its information technology (IT) networks worldwide.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 

An I2TS 3 Quality Assurance Manager/Specialist:

  • Organizes and maintains all quality assurance and independent verification and validation (IV&V) documentation required
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with recognized standards and practices
  • Reviews all documentation for completeness, accuracy, and correctness personnel as a witness to testing requirements; presents IV&V results and troubleshoots technical problems; makes recommendations to improve overall quality
  • Certifies that deliverables have met all quality requirements with detailed reports and metrics
  • Reviews and evaluates software products and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards
  • Establishes software quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance
  • Develops and implements software/systems testing standards and procedures, and coordinates testing
  • Documents and analyzes test results, and makes recommendations to improve overall quality
  • Coordinates testing of purchased third-party software and/or services to ensure that company standards and end-user requirements are met
  • Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced Quality Assurance personnel, and may have supervisory responsibilities
  • Coordinates quality-related training

Desirable Skills / Experience:                   

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in quality assurance and software/systems engineering
  • Understanding of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM), ISO 9001, and ITIL 2011 requirements
  • Proficiency with ITSM toolsets, SharePoint, and Microsoft office suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Plus, etc.)
  • Proficiency using metric reporting formats and diagrams

Certification(s):

  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract
  • Desired Certifications: ITIL 2011, PMP, CMQ/OE, CQA, or CQE

 

Security Clearance:

  • TS/SCI required

Additional: 

  • Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract

Education

Education Required:

  • High School diploma/GED with 10 years of related experience, or Associate’s degree with 8 years of experience, Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 4 years of experience

Qualifications

4-10 years of related quality assurance experience.
