    Modeling and Simulation Model 

    Secret Clearance 

    Einsiedlerhof AFB, Germany 




    Provide Model and Simulation (M&S) support services before, during and after events, to include network configuration, training, testing, configuration management, system integration and system software/hardware support for the European Integrated Air and Missile Defense Center (EIAMDC).




    • Simulation Specific Tasks

      • Use the medium fidelity, computer-based force-on-force International Simulation (I-SIM) to support EUCOM and NATO/coalition personnel Missile Defense training
      • Create scenarios that represent notional missile defense architectures at various epochs
      • Develop warfighter concepts of operations, doctrine, tactics, techniques and procedures; and support Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) education activities
      • Develop and design simulation databases using I-SIM
      • Modify and test Coalition scenarios used for exercises with Distributed Interactive Simulation functionality including both a red and blue force laydown
      • Configure and test the Tactical Data Analysis and Connectivity System (TDACS) system and the TADIL-J (TDL) message provider feature
      • Attend conferences and teleconferences to provide technical and scenario input for each exercise
      • Submit trip reports
    • General M&S experience
      • Create, develop and design simulation databases for M&S events
      • Provide technical support for M&S event preparation and execution including the coordination with exercise operations planners, technical planners and the federation manager
      • Analyze event requirements for specific model integration testing and event execution
      • Create and maintain M&S technical diagrams and documentation including configuration management documents, continuity plans and training manuals and training plans




    • Familiarity with Ballistic Missile Defense systems and architectures. Familiarity with Space based platforms and concepts. Understand launch detection/missile tracking characteristics. General knowledge of Aegis Afloat/Ashore, AN/TPY-2, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) and Patriot batteries.



    • Security + ce or equivalent required  


    Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.


    2-5 years of related systems engineering experience.POST
